Abstract

Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) is one of the indicators of basic health development of a country. In Indonesia, MMR is still concerning and ranks first in ASEAN countries. Bleeding is the main cause of MMR, one of the causes of bleeding is placenta previa. The purpose of this study was to determine the Description of Mothers' Knowledge About Placenta Previa Occurrence at the Galela Health Center in 2024. This type of research is Descriptive research, this research was conducted at the Galela Health Center in October 2024, the sample in this study was 30 pregnant women. The results of the study showed that out of 30 respondents (100%), there were 9 pregnant women (30%) who had good knowledge about Placenta Previa, 8 pregnant women (27%) who had sufficient knowledge about Placenta Previa and there were 13 pregnant women (43%) who had less knowledge about Placenta Previa. The conclusion of this study is that most pregnant women have less knowledge about Placenta Previa
