Background: Background: Breast cancer is one of the leading causes of death among women in Indonesia. Prevention and early detection are key factors in reducing mortality rates from this disease. One simple and effective method of early detection is Breast Self-Examination (BSE). The importance of education and increasing knowledge about breast cancer from an early age, especially among adolescent girls who are undergoing developmental transitions, needs to be given more attention. Objective: This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge about breast cancer and the practice of SADARI among adolescent girls at SMP X Jakarta Barat. Methodology: This study employs a quantitative correlational design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample was obtained through purposive sampling from a population of 176 female students in grades 7, 8, and 9, with a sample size of 64 respondents. The instruments used were a questionnaire on knowledge about breast cancer and SADARI behaviour, distributed via Google Forms. Results: Using the Chi-Square test, the p-value was 0.006 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant association between knowledge about breast cancer and SADARI behaviour. Conclusion: There is a significant association between the level of knowledge about breast cancer and the behaviour of performing SADARI among adolescent girls. Early education is crucial for fostering the habit of early detection for prevention purposes.
