Background: Good sleep quality is an important factor in supporting the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of school-aged children. Poor sleep quality can have a negative impact on learning concentration, behaviour, and overall health. One factor that influences sleep quality is sleep hygiene, which refers to habits and environments that support healthy sleep. This study aims to investigate the relationship between sleep hygiene and sleep quality in school-aged children. The study employs a quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach. The population consists of fourth and fifth-grade students at SDIT X Jakarta Utara, with a sample size of 101 respondents selected using total sampling technique. Data collection was conducted using a structured questionnaire. Data analysis included univariate analysis to examine the distribution of respondent characteristics and bivariate analysis using the chi-square test with a significance level of α<0.05. The results of the univariate analysis showed that the majority of respondents had good sleep hygiene (57.4%) and good sleep quality (62.4%). The chi-square test results indicated a significant association between sleep hygiene and sleep quality (p-value = 0.003). Children with good sleep hygiene were less likely to experience sleep quality disturbances (OR = 0.051). Conclusion: There is a significant association between sleep hygiene and sleep quality in children.
