Exclusive breastfeeding is the ideal nutrition for infants from birth to six months of age, without any additional food or drink. Exclusive breastfeeding is crucial for supporting infant growth, development, and immunity. However, in the Tanete Community Health Center (Puskesmas) area, the exclusive breastfeeding coverage rate remains below the national target, partly due to the low level of knowledge among pregnant women. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of providing health education through animated videos on the level of knowledge of pregnant women about the importance of exclusive breastfeeding in the Tanete Community Health Center area by 2025. Methods: This study used a quantitative method with a one-group pre-test post-test design. The sample in this study was 39 pregnant women selected using a purposive sampling technique. The instrument used was a questionnaire containing 25 objective questions that measured respondents' knowledge before and after the intervention. The intervention was carried out in the form of health education through direct counseling supported by animated videos. Data analysis in this study used the Wilcoxon test. Research Results: The results showed a significant increase in the level of knowledge of pregnant women after the health education intervention, with a p-value of 0.000 (P<0.05). Before the intervention, most respondents had fair and poor knowledge, while after the intervention, the majority of respondents showed an increase in knowledge to the good category. Conclusion: It can be concluded that health education significantly influences the increase in knowledge of pregnant women regarding the importance of exclusive breastfeeding in the Tanete Community Health Center (Puskesmas) work area. Recommendation: It is recommended that educational programs on breastfeeding be routinely integrated into antenatal care (ANC) services, supported by engaging educational media, to increase the knowledge of pregnant women and support the success of the exclusive breastfeeding program in the community.
